$20K Reward Offered In Fatal Double Shooting: Philadelphia Police

One man is dead and another was hospitalized after a double shooting in Philadelphia on Thursday, Nov. 7, police said.

The shooting involved a 51-year-old Hispanic man who was shot in the chest and right leg and a 34-year-old Hispanic man who was shot once in the left shoulder, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. 

This happened on the highway at 100 East Somerset Street at 11:07 a.m., police said.

After the incident, the older man was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:27 a.m., according to police. The younger man was taken to the same hospital and is in stable condition.

The crime scene is being held, police said. No arrests have been made, and no weapons were recovered.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction, according to police.
